"You are only what you are when no one is looking."

The quote explains itself... and you can make out so much of a person by just watching what they do in their leisure time. I wanted to share this quote because a friend of mine recently divorced after being married for 4-5 months and all she could say was that she wished she had spent more time with him before and gotten to know him inside out before getting into something binding. It's sad, but true... although something as committed as a marriage requires a lot of other things. Accepting and loving them for who they are for one (which needs a lot of work on yourself). This quote was also mentioned by Dr. Livingston at the leadership training session. Getting to know yourself before others is important... because once you do, you can work on yourself and later, the people around you and your relationship with them.

what if everyone claims to know you inside out, but you are struggling to understand yourself?

"Getting to know yourself before others is important.." so true....... and i guess thats the most difficult part!!!

that IS deep Random... you might wanna take a look at this. It's called the Johari Window and rather interesting. We were introduced to this concept a few weeks back and I guess it applies to your question (hopefully).

haha yessum Moi! It surely takes a while, but once you even get to know half of yourself, you can do wonders :) for yourself and everyone you come in contact with.

i have heard of johari windows. only problem is that i have really lazy friends!
